Fun Valentine's kids crafts

So my kids have been home sick this week and so to keep us all sane, we did a bunch of Valentine's Day crafts. These are the Valentine's my daughter is taking to her class. You cut out the flowers and decorate. Punch a hole for your suckers. Glue on your leaf and VIOLA.... a Valentine's bouqet. She will have the cutest Valentine's in her class!

Here is the link to download the pattern: http://www.skiptomylou.org/2008/02/08/how-does-your-garden-grow/

For my son's Valentine's we are making heart crayons to give to his class. The kids loved this projects! Cut up your crayons and keep the colors seperate so they can pick their combination. Add a couple of kids to do the work.....Fill the cupcake holders with the crayon peices.
Cook for about 10-15 min at 200 degrees. And let them cool.
Pop out and enjoy your new crayons....this is a great way to use all of those broken crayons in your crayon box!

This is crayon Stain glass. First you use a crayon or pencil sharpener and get crayon shavings in the colors you want. Then you sprinkle the shavings between wax paper and iron for a few seconds. (You will want to put newspaper under and on top of the wax paper to prevent the wax getting on your iron and ironing board).

Let the crayon dry and cut to shape. We made a window hanging with ours.

LOVE is in the air!

These are the blocks we did for our monthly craft group. You can never have too much LOVE!

Who doesn't LOVE baby shoes?

I saw a pair of baby shoes made out of wool felt, and I fell in love! So I had to try them myself. I just love these and I love that I can make them in any color I want. (I have a thing for matching baby shoes)! I am still perfecting my pattern. But for my first try at them, I am pretty happy. There are lots of cute ideas for girl ones, so I am trying to do a few boy ones. What do you think of them? Any suggestions?
